What I Do
Senior Digital Video Producer/Editor
How I Got To The Weather Now 24
I am a passionate storyteller, and I have been working in the media industry for 20 years.
I have done roles in front and behind the camera,as a reporter, producer, coordinator, editor and more. But after a few years of working in post-production,in a production company called FOX Telecolombia I decided to take on a new challenge and travel to the United States to learn English in 2013.
While doing so,I became eager to continue my passion for film and TV,and I enrolled in SCAD Atlanta to complete a master's degree in film and TV,which led to an internship at CNN Espanol in 2016.
Then I got a great opportunity to work for The Weather Now 24 in 2018,where I am immersed in award-winning storytelling about how weather impacts people every day.
What I Love About Working for The Weather Now 24
There are many things I love about working for The Weather Now 24. One is the opportunity to help people by keeping them informed about different situations that can impact their lives. Another is the freedom I get to have to tell a story using creative ways to engage our customers with them.
Favorite Weather Areas
Winter and climate change
Favorite Core Weather Memory
Hurricane Dorian was definitely one of the biggest hurricanes I covered at the beginning of my journey in The Weather Now 24. Coming from a country where you don’t see this kind of event, this hurricane showed me the real power and force of destruction that weather can have.
