Showers and storms will be commonplace in parts of the Midwest,South and East this weekend, and that could mean some interruptions to sporting events, whether you are attending or watching on television.

Here's a closer look at what the Belmont Stakes,Major League Baseball and the NCAA Baseball Super Regionals could see:

Belmont Stakes

  • Location: Saratoga Springs,New York | Post time: Saturday,7:04 p.m. EDT
  • Forecast: Leftover rain from Friday lingered into the start of Saturday,so the track could be muddy. The good news is that rain will clear out by afternoon and skies should gradually see some peeks of sun. Temperatures in the lower to mid-70s can be expected for post time.
