Parts of New Mexico have picked up two feet of snow since last weekend. It might seem late in the year to see so much snow,but much of the Rockies and California’s Sierra Nevada pick up their last snows of the season in May or even in June. A few spots could keep skiing for weeks as more snow is expected and it could be measured in additional feet before it ends Wednesday.
